The Sulphur City Steam Rollers present a Halloween event like Rotorua has never seen before… HELL-O-WHEELS! The inaugural Halloween Skate Spooktacular which promises to be a fun themed event for the whole family!

The Sulphur City Steam Rollers‘ will be facing off against members of the original New Zealand roller derby league: the Pirate City Rollers, as their Broadside Brawlers venture south in the hopes of crushing our rockers on home ground!
Half-time entertainment will include a performance by members of the Rotorua Roller Skating Club, and kids in the crowd in costume will be invited down to the Track for Treats!
Prizes will also be given to the Best Dressed Adult and Child Halloween Costumes, as well as those with the Best Supporter Signs for their favourite team or skaters.
The Sulphur City Steam Rollers will be selling team merchandise and raffle tickets, offering you a chance to win a horrifically frightening visit to Spookers in Auckland!
In every one of the Sulphur City Steam Rollers’ events to date, tickets have sold out up to a week prior to the event. So the organisers recommend that you purchase your tickets well in advance. We’re not even kidding!
Doors open at 6pm with game formalities commencing at 6:45pm. Food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

We are pleased to inform you that you have been invited to partake in a magical evening of brews and to test your knowledge of the magical realm. From books to films, characters of great courage and treacherous beasts from the forbidden forest, expect the unexpected.
Choose your allies for the evening but be warned, there will be a limit of 4 members per team. If you and your team-mates are successful in this quest, you will be rewarded.

The FM course will begin the SUNDAY following (No weeknight session that week) and continues for the 12 weeks following. The course will be on Sunday afternoons and a weeknight 7-9, either Tuesdays or Thursdays TBC. More information available at the open day (incl costs involved).
